McCall Cravens
Since 2019, McCall Cravens has served as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of the
Heinz Family Office in Pittsburgh, where she oversees all investment activities. She
previously served as the CIO for Hunt Investment Group in Dallas, Texas. Before that,
McCall served as SMU’s Managing Director of Investments in the Endowment office,
overseeing and making recommendations regarding outside managers in all asset classes.
Prior to joining SMU, McCall worked as an investment professional for several private
equity funds, including Pamlico Capital and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners. She
also served as an analyst in the M&A investment banking group at Wachovia. McCall
received her B.S. from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude, and her M.B.A. from
Harvard Business School. McCall has been recognized by Trusted Insight as one of the
“Top 30 Women Chief Investment Officers” , “Top 30 Family Office Chief Investment
Officers” and one of the “Top 30 Most Influential Women in University Endowments”, as
well as recognized as one of the top “Forty Under Forty” by aiCIO. She also serves on the
Board and Investment Committee of The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh, as a
Community Trustee for The Dietrich Foundation, and as an Advisory Board Member for
Fund Evaluation Group.
